Thing #12

Digg was blocked as well as a couple others but I was able to get in to most of these links. I registered on Reddit. Then I read and recommended an article from the CNN.com news site and submitted that article. This was pretty easy to do and user friendly.

Newsvine and Mixx were similar to the Reddit registration and submitting process. I am not sure I would use these in my library. Reading and submitting these articles would be a work in progress and might be useful for some classes working in the library but time to read and submit would be the issue. So I guess at this point I would say that they would be more of a productivity detractor.

I have not read a story/item on any of these sites before.
