23 Mobile Things #12 - Books, Books, & More Books

I already have the app iBooks downloaded on my ipad and iphone. I carry a book wherever I go and now it is even easier for me with these mobile devices!!! I also had the apps downloaded for Free Books and AudioBooks.

iBooks is an amazing way to download and read books. IBooks app: iBooks includes the iBooks Store, where you can download the latest bestselling books or your favorite classics – day or night. Browse your library on a beautiful bookshelf, tap a book to open it, flip through pages with a swipe or a tap, and bookmark or add notes to your favorite passages.

Free Books app: Any educators with a need for quick reference to 23,469 books (and counting!) should absolutely download this amazing resource. Completely free, not only does it provide access to classic novels, but autobiographies, letters, speeches, and other writings by significant historical figures and recognized geniuses – including the American presidents – works of philosophy by Seneca and other influential thinkers, Shakespeare’s plays, and more as well!! Because of this, even teachers who do not focus on English still benefit greatly from what Free Books offers.

AudioBooks app: Listen to 5,533 classic audiobooks totally FREE on your iPhone or iPad. In addition to the great free content, there is a growing collection of premium audiobooks for your enjoyment. These include professionally narrated modern best sellers and hand-selected classics edited for maximum quality.

IstoryBooks app: This app includes 25 free children’s story books with fun pictures, text and audio for your little ones.Parents need to know iStoryBooks offers up a collection of standard educational book fare in full page, read-to-me format for preschool and elementary ages. Download time can be lengthy and there are a few small bugs here and there. Kids listen to stories about transportation, animals, and people. Printed text matches each narration, so young readers can try to follow along. Bookhub is another ereader that is popular. BookHUB reader is the 1st eBook reader for Android Smartphone & Tablets which is part of BookHUB eBookstore. BookHub Reader is also an iPad eBookReader application.
